• Ethernet Interface Configuration:
  Integrates 2x RJ45 Ethernet ports (10/100 Mbps) supporting both Modbus TCP/IP and PROFINET IO (device/controller mode). Enables flexible network topologies (star or daisy-chain) and simplified wiring, with auto-negotiation for seamless integration into existing Ethernet networks.

• Redundant Power & Protection Mechanisms:
  Features dual 24V DC power inputs (reverse polarity protected) to prevent system downtime from single power source failures. Supports a wide voltage range of 18-30V DC, adapting to unstable industrial power supplies. Over-voltage and over-current protection safeguard the gateway and connected equipment.

• Configuration & Diagnostics:
  Configurable via Hilscher’s SYCON.net software, allowing users to set serial parameters (baud rate, parity, stop bits), define Ethernet protocols, and map data points. Built-in diagnostics include real-time status monitoring (link quality, error rates) and LED indicators (power, Ethernet activity, serial communication, faults) for quick on-site troubleshooting.
