Product Introduction

The DELTA TAU PMAC2-PC/104 is a compact, economical motion controller that is part of the PMAC2 series. It consists of three boards, with the base version providing four DAC ±10V channels or pulse and direction command outputs. An optional axis expansion board provides a set of four additional servo channels and I/O ports, while an optional communications board provides additional I/O ports as well as USB or Ethernet interfaces for faster communication.

Interfaces: RS-232 serial interface, four-channel axis interface circuitry, each including 12-bit ±10V analog outputs, pulse-direction digital outputs, quadrature encoder inputs A, B, and C channel differential/single-ended drivers
Other features: 4 input flags, 2 TTL-level output flags, 3 PWM top and bottom pairs, 50-pin IDC header for amplifier/encoder interface, 34-pin IDC header for flag interface, PID/trap/feed-forward servo algorithms, and more.

Application Scenarios
PMAC2-PC/104 is suitable for applications that require high precision synchronous motion control. It supports ±10V analog, digital PWM, and stepping amplifier signal outputs, and provides 4- or 8-axis high-precision synchronous motion control. It can be connected to and controlled by a host computer via RS-232 serial port, PC/104 bus, USB or Ethernet communication. In addition, the PMAC2-PC/104 supports CNC G-code programming with 256 motion program capacity and PLC program control.
