Functional Features

Self calibration and health monitoring: The module monitors its own current output, maintains internal voltage reference, and provides self calibration and module health information.

Channel diagnosis: Each channel and circuit has continuous diagnosis. If the diagnosis fails, the faulty channel will be disabled and the fault indicator and chassis alarm will be activated. The module can still operate normally even when up to two channels are faulty.

Prevent erroneous output: The design can prevent unselected channels from driving analog signals to the field.

Open loop detection: Provided by the LOAD indicator, the indicator will activate when the module is unable to drive current to one or more outputs.

Redundant power supply support: Provides redundant circuit power supply, with independent power supply and fuse indicators PWR1 and PWR2.
