Product Introduction

The Emerson A6312 is a speed and key monitor designed for high-reliability rotating machinery equipment to monitor speed, phase, zero speed, and direction of rotation. The monitor's 1-slot design allows it to be used with AMS 6500 monitors and meets the requirements of API 670 machinery protection monitors. It is used in a wide range of applications including steam, gas, compressor, and hydraulic turbine machinery.

Technical Specifications and Features
Redundancy Mode: The A6312 can be configured in redundancy mode to enable automatic switching from main to standby speed to ensure stable equipment operation.
Sensor type: Speed measurement uses displacement sensors mounted inside the machine, targeting gears, keyways or cogwheels rotating on the shaft; phase measurement also consists of displacement sensors, but must have a target for each revolution.
Output type: with 0/4-20 mA output, supports post buffered proportional output.
Self-test functions: including monitoring hardware, power inputs, hardware temperature, sensors and cables.
