Ease of installation and use
Modular design: A T-type DIN rail is all that is required to mount the power supply/controller carrier in place. The I/O interface carriers can be easily inserted into the power supply/controller carrier, and the I/O terminals can be conveniently plugged into the carriers, making installation and maintenance of the system quick and easy.
System Performance
Efficient operation: With the modular design of the DeltaV system, users can add I/O carriers as needed to easily realize the efficient operation of the I/O subsystem.
Simplified wiring: The power/controller carriers contain an internal power bus, eliminating the need for external cables to connect the system power supply to the DeltaV controller and I/O carriers, which further simplifies system wiring and improves overall system reliability.
