Product Introduction

Dual Microprocessor Design: The F8620/11 uses two clock-synchronized microprocessors, each with its own memory, one processor handles real data and programs and the other handles reversed data and programs to increase system redundancy and reliability.

Hardware Comparator: Equipped with a testable hardware comparator for all external accesses to both microprocessors to ensure data consistency and security.

Storage and connectivity: uses Flash-EPROM and sRAM data memory for the operating system and user programs. Multiplexers connecting I/O buses, DPR (Dual Port RAM) and redundant CUs (Central Units) enable efficient data transfer and communication.

Safety certification: Conforms to the safety requirements of international standards such as IEC 61508, ensuring the reliability and safety of critical applications.

Communication protocols: Supports industry safety protocols such as HIMA safety protocol or Profibus DP-V1 for efficient and safe communication with devices such as DCS (distributed control systems) or PLC (programmable logic controllers).

Inputs/Outputs: Digital and analog inputs and outputs with specific safety levels are provided to ensure data accuracy and reliability.

Power supply and operating environment: Typically operates within a 24VDC or 48VDC DC voltage range for a variety of industrial environments, with an operating temperature range of -40°C to +85°C.
