The 3500/40M Proximitor Monitor's main function is to deliver the following:

1. Using alerts driven by continuously comparing observed data to predefined alarm setpoints, machinery protection

2. Information about the machine that both operations and maintenance staff need

Each channel often qualifies its incoming signal to produce different parameters known as static values depending on setup.

Each active static value can have an alarm setpoint configured, and any two of the active static values can have a setpoint for danger.
